About Us
You must be 21 or older (or the legal minimum age where you live) to use anything on this site. Offshore Sportsbooks is an independent comparison site for US bettors who are looking at offshore sportsbooks. This page explains who the site is for, how we compare sportsbooks, how we make money, and what we can and cannot tell you.
What Offshore Sportsbooks does
We research and compare offshore sportsbooks that accept US players. These are betting sites licensed outside the United States, often under Curaçao, Panama or Costa Rica jurisdictions. Some readers live in states with no legal, regulated online sportsbook. Others want higher limits, reduced juice, more prop bets or markets that US-regulated betting apps restrict. Some have been limited by regulated operators.
Our site focus is offshore sportsbook bonuses, so much of our work looks at welcome bonuses, sign-up bonuses and reload bonuses. We also look at odds, market coverage, payout speed, banking and reputation. Bonuses are only one part of the picture.
The legal position, stated plainly
Offshore sportsbooks sit in a legal grey area for US bettors. Accepting US customers is not the same as being authorized or licensed by a State Gaming Commission or Board to serve them. Some states regulate online sports betting and racebooks. Others restrict or prohibit them. Laws and enforcement differ by state and change over time.
- Offshore sportsbooks are not under US state regulation.
- US state player protections do not apply. That includes segregated funds, formal dispute resolution and guaranteed payouts.
- An offshore sportsbook may delay or refuse a withdrawal, and you may have little recourse.
- Check your own state's laws before you bet. For tax or legal questions, consult a qualified professional.
We do not present any sportsbook as clearly legal or regulated for US bettors, and we make no claim that a listed licence has been verified by a US authority.
How we compare sportsbooks
Our rankings rest on desk research and a review of each operator's published information. We have not claimed to deposit, bet or withdraw money at any of them. Where something is sportsbook advertising rather than confirmed, we say so. We weigh these factors:
- Odds and pricing: point spread, moneyline and totals pricing, and whether reduced juice is offered.
- Market coverage: NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, soccer, golf, MMA and horse racing, plus futures, parlays, same-game parlays, prop bets and live betting.
- Bonuses: the headline offer and its rollover, wagering requirements, minimum odds, time limits and eligibility.
- Banking: card deposits, cryptocurrency, bank wire and other methods, plus withdrawal fees and payout limits.
- Payout speed and reliability: reported track record of paying, verification (KYC) demands and crypto payout speed.
- Trust and service: site security, reputation, customer support, and mobile app or browser experience.
- Responsible gambling tools: what limits and self-exclusion options are offered. Offshore sportsbooks may lack the tools regulated operators must provide.
Ratings on the offer cards are our editorial ratings. They are not customer-review scores. The list currently includes Lucky Rebel, Bovada, BetOnline, BetNow, Everygame, BetUS, Sportsbetting, Xbet, MyBookie and ApuestaHoy. Information was last checked on Sep 30, 2026.
How bonuses are treated
A headline figure tells you little. A 100% match with a high rollover can be harder to clear than a smaller offer with gentler terms. For any bonus, read the rollover or wagering requirement, minimum odds, deadline, eligible bets, payment-method restrictions and maximum cashout before you deposit. Terms change, so confirm them on the sportsbook's own site. Bonuses are not free money: matched offers need a deposit, and free bets need you to meet conditions.
How we earn money
Offshore Sportsbooks may earn a commission if you sign up through some links. Commission does not buy a higher position, and it does not change a rating. Sportsbooks cannot pay to be ranked above others. Our terms and conditions set out how the site may be used.
What we do not do
- We do not promise winnings or profit, and we do not offer tips or picks as certainties.
- We do not treat betting as income or a way to fix money problems.
- We do not encourage you to chase losses or bet more than you can afford.
- We do not direct content at anyone under 21.
Risks worth knowing before you bet
You can lose money betting. With offshore sportsbooks there is an added risk that a site may be slow to pay or may not pay at all. If you use cryptocurrency, its price can move between deposit and withdrawal, which changes what your balance is worth in US dollars. Bet only what you can afford to lose.
Responsible gambling and help
If gambling is causing you harm, call 1-800-GAMBLER (1-800-426-2537) for free, confidential help. Our responsible gambling page covers limits, warning signs and self-exclusion in more detail. Because offshore sportsbooks may not offer the tools regulated US operators do, consider setting your own deposit limits and blocking tools on your bank or device.
